MATR will provide a four (4)-day course of instruction on the application of high angle fire with your assigned weapons and familiarization of the AK-47/74, PKM Machine Gun, SVD Sniper Rifle, and the variations commonly seen with these weapons. Ammunition for the foreign weapons training is provided as are the weapons. Class size is capped at 12 students and closed courses are available. For beginners and professionals who need to understand and practice the firing up and down extreme angles of distances up to 500 meters. The high angle fire will be conducted in the morning and then the foreign weapons training will be in the afternoon. The course will cover:

- Shooting up and down angles at varied distances up to 500 meters
- Low-light firing instruction

- Tactical shooting drills and considerations
- Foreign Weapons
- Safe and proper handling

- Ballistic considerations
- Functioning of the weapon
- Tactical shooting drills and considerations
- Misfire/Stoppage drills
- Sight adjustment/Battlefield zeroing
- Implementation of the weapon as a modern battlefield rifle
Each registered student will receive a copy of the MATR-authored Practical Guide to the Operational Use of the AK-47/AKM and AK-74 Rifles, PKM Machine Gun, SVD Sniper Rife and RPG-7 Rocket Launcher prior to the course for self-study.
