WV Concealed Carry Weapons Course

Mid-Atlantic Training Resources conducts concealed weapons classes at its Philippi, WV location. This class will fill the requirements needed to apply for a WV concealed-carry pistol/revolver license. The course consists of lecture and range time. Course lecture covers the criminal and civil responsibilities associated with carrying a concealed weapon, mental awareness, firearms safety, and maintenance. The range session consists of safe gun handling, loading and unloading of firearms, and basic marksmanship.
The curriculum will cover:
• Firearms safety
• Legal use of deadly force
• Types of weapon to carry
• Operation and employment of pistol and revolvers
• Safe range fire
Courses are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

Time: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Location: 112 N. Wood St., Philippi, WV
Course Fee: $100.00 + tax
Required to Bring:
• Pistol with 50 rounds of ammunition
• Hearing protection
• Eye protection
• Dress appropriately for weather conditions. The range portion is conducted outside.
